<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a generator at low cost by lessening converters such as an inverter, and constitution required for linkage to a conventional system as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary machine rotates a rotor iron core 5 where rotor winding 4 is wound to a stator iron core 2 where field winding 1 is wound and is excited together with a commutator 8. This generator has brushes 12 which are rotated by a synchronous motor 9 while contacting with the commutator 8, a DC power source 14 which applies DC voltage between these brushes 12, a windmill 7 which rotates the rotor 6, and an AC power source which is connected as an excitation power source for the field winding, and a drive source for the synchronous motor 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
