<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weather strip capable of preventing roll-up of a seal lip head end part in closing a door due to deterioration of fitting of the door and preventing detachment of a mounting base part from a retainer even when a hand touches the seal lip in closing the door. <P>SOLUTION: This door weather strip 22 is furnished with the mounting base part 23 to be mounted on a peripheral edge part of the door to open and close a car body opening part and the seal lip 26 provided on an end part of the mounting base part through a thick support part 25 and to seal the car body opening part by making elastically contact with a stepped surface 27b of a roof panel 27. Rigidity of the support part is lowered by forming a hollow part 28 inside the support part, slacking deformation of the seal lip in closing the door is absorbed by the support part rigidity of which is lowered and a bulged part 29 to reduce a clearance between a sash part 20 and the roof panel 27 is formed on a front surface on the outdoor side of the support part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
