<p>A process for filling horizontal chamber coking ovens with a laterally arranged centrifuge (3, 3a) having a tangential discharge pipe that can be sealingly inserted in a filling opening of the oven chamber door. With this filling process, the piled density is increased and the distribution of the piled density is made more uniform. The coal is introduced in the coking oven chamber by tiltable centrifuges (3, 3a) arranged on the coking side and on the machine side, streams of coke being projected into the coking oven chamber in such a manner that two slopes are formed in the middle of the chamber and are fed in layers up to the doors of the oven.</p> |
