The apparatus has at least one pressure space, to which at least one supply-air duct is connected. The supply-air duct is assigned adjusting means to adjust the volume flow of the supply air flowing through it. The supply-air duct is constructed to convey the supply air flowing through it with a separation-free wall boundary layer. The adjusting means serve to adjust the size of the clear cross-section of the outlet opening of the assigned supply-air duct. The supply air is blown out quietly, even if the supply-air duct is throttled.
