The holder comprises a base (1) with a ski clamp (2) and a clamp (5) for releasably securing the base to a workbench (6) or the like so that the ski in the clamp is in an essentially horizontal position. The ski clamp comprises a fixed first clamping part (9) and a second clamping part (10) slidably mounted on a rail (11) in the base so that the distance between the clamping parts can be adjusted according to the width of the ski (3). A hand-operated actuator (14) is used to fix the second clamping part into position by engaging a lateral surface (19) of the rail with an eccentric section (18) of a pivotable locking cam (17). |
