PURPOSE:To make a wavelength long and to enhance reflectivity within a semiconductor laser wavelength region by incorporating a phthalocyanine compound having a specific structure in a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by formula (I) is contained in the recording layer of an optical data recording medium. In the formula (I), A1, A2, A3 and A4 are an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, a cyano group, an amino group or an aryl group which may be substituted with an acyl group, M is SiR1R2 or GeR1R2 [wherein R1 and R2 are a 1 - 18C alkyl group which may be substituted, a halogen atom or OR3 {wherein R3 is a 1 - 18C alkyl group which may be substituted, SiR4R5R6 or GeR4R5R6 (wherein R4, R5 and R6 are a 1 - 12C alkyl group which may be substituted)}]. |
