PURPOSE:To improve handleability by displaying each image in an easily visible form by displaying plural images one by one on a display screen and displaying an index showing the location on sheet to be printed for an image which is being displayed on the display screen. CONSTITUTION:When the storage image display switch of a video printer is operated, an image of plural image data stored by the video printer and a square character 30 divided in the same way as the array of the image at the time of printing are displayed on a monitor, and further, a pointer 31 is turned on and displayed at the square of the character 30 corresponding to the printing location at the time of printing the image for which a monitor display is performed. Subsequently, when an image to be displayed on the monitor is switched by operating a cursor key, the pointer 31 successively displays the photographic printing location of each image by successively moving to the square corresponding to the photographic printing location at the time of printing the image switched according to the switching of this screen. |
