PURPOSE:To minimize a consumption of ink when printing is not performed, while the ink is being delivered stably by performing a delivery function restoring operation using a sequence indicated beforehand and a sequence indicated by a sequence indicating means when an ink jet recording device is operated. CONSTITUTION:A delivery restoration device 126 includes a ROM 15A, wherein a sequence of each restoration delivery mode of an ink jet recording head 120 such as an initial delivery mode at the initial start-up or at the replacement of ink tank, power source-ON mode, and backup delivery mode during the printing operation is stored beforehand at a factory, and a nonvolatile RAM 15B which can be rewritten. And there are provided a controller 15 to control a restoration delivery operation and an operation panel 10. And, for example, in a room provided with air conditioning devices and in a normal use condition, by storing a procedure of sequence such that the power source-On mode of ROM 15A is stopped from the operation panel 10 to the RAM 15B, the printing recording can be performed stably by means of the backup delivery. |
