BIODEGRADABLE PLASTIC WRITING UTENSIL OR COATING UTENSIL WITH BUILT-IN COLORING LIQUID

PURPOSE:To provide a biodegradable plastic writing utensil capable of fitting practical use by incorporating the coloring liquid containing a coloring agent, an aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or alicyclic hydrocarbon solvent and a resin soluble in the solvent as indispensable constituents in barrel composed of an aliphatic polyester molded body. CONSTITUTION:The barrel of the writing utensil is molded from the aliphatic polyester of the biodegradable plastic. On the other hand, the coloring liquid is formed from the coloring agent, the solvent consisting mainly of the aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or alicyclic hydrocarbon and the resin such as an alkyl phenol resin soluble in the solvent as the indispensable constituents. The coloring liquid is incorporated in the barrel. As the solvent, the aliphatic hydrocarbon such as n-pentane or the alicyclic hydrocarbon such as cyclopentane is used. By this constitution, the aliphatic polyester is not swollen by the solvent and also the permeation of steam is prevented.
