PURPOSE:To insert tab terminals having a specified thickness in a circuit board to make it possible to mount the tab terminals to the circuit board by a method wherein when the tab terminals are formed by punching a metal strip, the tongue-shaped terminal bodies of the tab terminals are formed by folding the punched parts of the metal strip. CONSTITUTION:Each tab terminal 16 of a tab terminal combined body 10 is formed by punching a conductive metal strip, but in this case, a main body 18 of the terminal 16 is formed by folding a conductive metal strip punched part 18A, which is punched in a length twice longer than the length of the main body 18 in such a way that the part 18A is symmetrically formed with the top part of the main body 18 as the center line of the part 18A, in the center line. Moreover, a leg 20 of the tab terminal 16 is formed of the punched part 18A of the conductive metal strip as is. Thereby, the while tab terminal combined body 10 results in being formed into a tape form along with a tape 14 as a whole in the state remaining as the flatness of the metal strip is maintained. As the thickness of the main body 18 of each tab terminal 16 is formed in a thickness twice thicker than that of the leg 20, the thickness of the tab terminals 16 can be formed in a specified thickness. |
