PURPOSE: To enable reconversion to be performed at any time while eliminating the need for an operator to pay attention to the state of KANA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI(Chinese character) conversion by separating a KANA-KANJI converting means from an input means. CONSTITUTION: A KANA character inputted from a character input part 110 is sent to a character string operation part 120. The character operation part 120 puts KANA characters sent from the character input part 110 into a KANA character string and sends it to a KANA-KANJI conversion part 130. The KANA-KANJI conversion part 130 performs KANA-KANJI conversion, stores a KANA character string in a KANA character string field and the conversion result at the tail of a conversion process storage field of the same line with the corresponding KANA character string according to storage forms, and sends a KANJI-KANA mixed sentence as the conversion result back to the character string operation part 120. The character string operation part 120 stores the conversion result in an information storage part 150 and displays it at a display part 140. Consequently, unnecessary recognizing operation need not be done and correction operation for wrong characters is made easy. |
