DRIVING SYSTEM FOR PLASMA DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: To surely connect a writing discharge to a light emission display discharge even with in AC plasma display panel structured to execute the writing discharge and the light emission display discharge with different electrodes. CONSTITUTION: This plasma display has a common row X electrode 16 and independent row Y electrode 17 which are two electrodes to execute the light emission display discharge and an address A electrode and trigger T electrode which are two electrodes to execute the writing discharge. Fixing pulses of high potential are impressed on the independent row Y electrode 17 before the start of the writing discharge until just before the impression of the maintenance pulses to execute the light emission display discharge. The pulses impressed on the two electrodes to execute the writing discharge form the same phase and opposite polarities.
