PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a registered telephone number through a little key operation without increasing the number of parts by successively displaying telephone numbers registered in telephone directory data in order from the most number of times of call origination when a specified key is continuously pressed and specifying the telephone number, which is displayed when pressing of the specified key is stopped, for call origination. SOLUTION: This method is composed of a control part 2, a ROM 3 for storing programs or the like and an EEPROM 4, etc., for storing registered telephone numbers and names or the like as a telephone number directory corresponding to memory numbers. Besides, a non-volatile memory 21 reads the program and information required for processing from the ROM 3 and the EEPROM 4 and stores them and these program and information are used for processing at the control part 2. Besides, the number of times of call origination for each telephone set is stored in the non-volatile memory 21 and when a call is originated, the number of times of call origination is updated. When the specified key is continuously pressed, the control part 2 successively displays the telephone numbers registered as the telephone directory data in order from the most number of times of call origination and specifies the telephone number, which is displayed when pressing of the specified key is stopped, for call origination. |
