PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make display uniform without the occurrence of voltage attenuation by dividing a light shielding part to the number of transparent electrodes or above and electrically connecting the light shielding parts and the transparent electrodes, respectively. SOLUTION: The light shielding parts 15 are constituted by dividing a Cr thin film in the same direction as the direction of the transparent electrodes 12a thereabove and to a plurality above the number of pieces of the transparent electrodes 12a. The respective parts are formed by etching the light shielding parts to a comb shape. An overcoating layer 17 covers pixel parts and the width thereof is made smaller than the width of the light shielding parts 15. Color filters 16 and the transparent electrodes 12a are formed in the same manner as heretofore. Other constituting members, such as liquid crystals and spacers, are similarly formed. The transparent electrodes 12a and the light shielding parts 15 are electrically connected to a power feed terminal (k) at the final terminal L. The light shielding parts for light shielding the parts exclusive of the pixel parts and the transparent electrodes are electrically connected in such a manner, by which the uniform display free from the voltage attenuation is made possible at the same cost as heretofore. |
