The device a blade connection (16,18) which is positioned between the rotor blade (10) and the rotor head (2). A holder (20) is detachably mounted on the rotor head, separately from the blade connection. A support arm (22) is adjustably pivoted on the holder and holds the rotor blade in a stable position when load is removed from the blade connection. The support arm may encompass at least two rotor blade holders (42) which are spaced apart along the blade's longitudinal direction. The holder and the rotor head have interfitting assembly elements in a pre-set position of the holders.
