The camera includes light sensitive elements or groups of light sensitive elements which have time variable reception characteristics. Preferably, each picture element or group of picture elements is coupled to at least an adjustable electronic amplifier. The variation of the reception characteristics is carried out using the adjustable electronic amplifier. Each pixel or group of pixels is coupled to a static electronic filter. The variation of the reception characteristics is carried out using the filter action of the filter in connection with the modulation of the light signals.
