PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an appearance, reduce costs, and open and close a door easily and safely by providing a door at the back of an air conditioner, forming a recessed part at an upper part, and engaging an upper end suction of the door on the back side of a main body of the recessed part. SOLUTION: A housing of an air conditioner 11 comprises an outer box front plate 14 having a suction port of air to be dehumidified, a drain tank 13 for storing dehumidified water, an outer box back plate 15 with a integrally formed recessed handle section 14 is provided on the upper part of both sides at right and left, and a maintenance door 16 is provided on the back side. The handle section 14 is integrally formed with the outer box back plate 15 so as to form a recessed shape toward the inside of a main body, and a door 16 is engaged with a portion of the back side of the main body 11 of the handle section 14. Since the handle part 14 is provided in the main body, the nature of the design of appearance is not affected. Since there is no wall in the portion of the back side of the main body of the recessed part, dies are easily produced, costs are reduced, and the recessed part of the handle section 14 functions as a finger catch for opening the door 16, thereby to facilitate opening of the door. |
