Commercial vehicle pneumatic suspension blocking system

A truck has a pneumatic suspension system (1) with a chamber (7) holding compressed air and rolling bellows (3) which move in response to a change in load. The pneumatic suspension is positioned between the vehicle sunning gear and chassis. The suspension incorporates a blocking mechanism which may be activated when the vehicle is at rest, and maintaining the position of the vehicle chassis with respect to the ground, irrespective of an increase or decrease of the vehicle load due to movement of goods.
