<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the advertisement effect of a Web page with a limited display area in addition to the effective use thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The Web page consists of two layers of a upper layer 101, 12 or 103 and a lower layer, and the upper layer and the lower layer are displayed in the same position. When a specified operation such as erasing, moving or modification is performed to the upper layer, the content of the lower layer is displayed. Advertisement information is displayed on the upper layer, and general information other than advertisement is displayed on the lower layer. Otherwise, advertisement information customized for every user is displayed on the upper layer, and non-customized general advertisement information is displayed on the lower layer. Since two pieces of information can be displayed in the same area, the Web page with the limited display area can be effectively used.
