<p>The invention provides a method, and an apparatus for decorating or coloring fingernails (N) or toenails. According to the method, a subject's fingernail (N) is scanned to obtain an image, and the image is transferred to a computer (11). The computer (11) then maps out the fingernail surface and scales a selected image or design to fit on the fingernails (N). This information is then used by the computer (11) to activate an ink jet assembly (15) to print out the stored image on the fingernail surface.</p> |
