PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shock occurring in the initial period of changing over and enhance the responsiveness by introducing an open center type selector valve to a power steering circuit. SOLUTION: The pressure of a power steering circuit is led to a regulator mechanism via a signal line 6. The regulator mechanism decides the tilting angle of a variable displacement pump 1 on the basis of either pressure of the load pressure line 14 and signal line 6 whichever is the higher and the discharge pressure of the pump 1 and keeps the discharge pressure of the pump 1 a certain width higher than either pressure of the load pressure line 14 and signal line 6 whichever is the higher. |
