PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure bearing which can obtain a necessary load capacity stably from a low speed rotation to a high speed rotation even though it has a small diameter, is strong to the invasion of the water and an oil, and has a low manufacture cost. SOLUTION: In this bearing, a circumferential groove 4 with the depth 7 μm, and the width 16 mm is provided along the full periphery, at the center of the shaft length direction at the outer surface of a tubular cover 2, and three air feeding holes 3 are formed to a surrounding member 1, in one line within the circumferential groove 4, As a result, both the static pressure effect within the circumferential groove 4, and the dynamic pressure effect at the position of both sides radial clearances, are exercised. |
