The invention relates to a thin rear-view mirror (1) having no inner moving mechanisms and held by a cylindrical bar (2) that has a constant diameter along its entire length and that passes through a sectioned sphere (5). Said mirror is flexibly raised and lowered by means of the cardan cross (3). It is actuated by the motor (6) by means of an endless screw (7) and can be camouflaged by entering into the door of the car through an opening.
