<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material capable of forming a layer, on a sheet substrate or the like, which can form a high-definition high-quality output image by an electrophotographic process using a liquid toner and also enables copying by a pressure-sensitive copying system with convenience when used after contact with or stacking on a developer layer and to provide a sheet using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid toner accepting coupler microcapsule coating material contains a liquid toner accepting resin and coupler microcapsules.
