Between each two terminal elements (3-5) protruding from housing (2) surface, there is a slit (6,7) in the housing for retaining a strip of elastic insulating material, pref. rubber. Typically the slit is located in a strap, protruding into the cast in the housing inside. The profile and dimensions of the strips are so chosen that the strips increase air and/or creep paths between parts under voltage prior to and/or during coupling of external connectors to the terminals.
