PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic totaling system that increases the accuracy of answer results by displaying questions in a multimedia format and totaling answers from users. SOLUTION: The system comprises question storing means for connecting to a communication network to digitally store question information including characters and graphics via the communication network; answer format display means for reading answer formats from a storage unit for display at a web site; answer format storing means for digitally storing, over the communication network, one of answer formats selected from the answer formats; and answer candidate storing means for editing at least two answer candidates corresponding to the answer format and digitally storing the candidates.
