<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a person having no knowledge on a sign language to form sign language animation in order to provide the information in the event of emergency, such as calamity or accident, in a manner easily understandable to a hearing handicapped person as well by the sign language. SOLUTION: A sign language sentence template 204 having the variable parts which are not determined unless in forming sentences at every frequently used sentence of the sign language is prepd. for the sign language animation forming device which provides the information in the manner easily understandable to the hearing handicapped person as well by the sign language in addition to characters and voices. The animation forming device has a means for selecting the sign language words to be substituted into the variable parts and a means for forming the sign language animation by the finger characters from the Japanese syllabary for reading of the indexes unless the CG data for the necessary sign language is prepd., by which even the person having no knowledge of the sign language is made to rapidly form the sign language animation and to deliver the same. The device has a means for changing the color and brightness of the screen before the sign language animation is reproduced, by which the hearing handicapped person is informed of the start of the display of the sign language sentence.</p> |
