<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle whose external field state detecting means does not have its shaft adjustment completed yet to have unexpected vehicle behavior. SOLUTION: A vehicle travel controller for a vehicle is equipped with the external field state detecting means St such as a radar device which is provided to the vehicle and detects the state of the travel direction of the vehicle and adjust the shafts in the travel direction and a travel support means M1 such as an ACC system which support the travel of the vehicle by using the detection result of the external field state detecting means St. A shaft adjustment state detecting means M2 stores whether or not the shaft adjustment of the external state detecting means St is completed and when the completion of the shaft adjustment is not store din the storage means M2, a use inhibiting means M3 inhibits the travel support means M1 from using the detection result of the detecting means St, thereby disallowing the travel support means M1 to operate.</p> |
