PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device capable of adjusting the rate of flow of the hydraulic oil easily and certainly and simplifying the constitution to regulate the rate of flow. SOLUTION: The body 2 of this clamping device 1 is furnished with a flow regulating valve 42 for regulating the rate of flow of the hydraulic oil flowing in an oil passage 40 connected with a hydraulic cylinder 5, and the flow regulating valve 42 is provided with a valve hole 46 formed in the midway of the oil passage 40 and a valve element 47a to be inserted into the valve hole 46 at least partially, wherein the valve element 47a is installed on the clamp body 2 in such a way as capable of making relative movement in the direction of approaching and going apart from the valve hole 46, and a valve member 47 can regulate the gap between the valve element 47a and the valve hole 46.
