<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pointing device that enables a user to make key inputs with both hands placed in certain spatial positions over a keyboard, and to freely control a pointer or a cursor by easy and efficient operation without having to grip and release the pointing device, while eliminating complex operations and position limits of conventional devices. <P>SOLUTION: The pointing device, for an information processor such as a personal computer or the like, has a physical shape and a mechanism that flexibly follow wrist movements, and has a means for sensing the bending movement of the wrist and controlling the pointer or the cursor on a display according to information on the bending movement of the wrist obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
