<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor device for a seat belt responding to the needs in recent years and capable of easily optimizing energy absorption characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The retractor device 1 is provided with a spool 4 for winding the seat belt 3; a torsion bar 5 constituted by twistable/deformable material; a lock mechanism 7 for suppressing rotation in at least belt drawing out direction of the spool 4; a ring 19 arranged at an inner periphery side of a shaft end part of the spool 4; and a plastically deformable plate member 20. In the plate member 20, one end side part 20a is strongly fixed to an approximately disc-like outer peripheral part of the ring 19 by an appropriate method and the other end side part 20b is disengageably engaged with an inner peripheral part of a large diameter cylindrical part 4b of the spool 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
