PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predictive control technique that can increase the accuracy of a predictive model in a shorter time.

SOLUTION: A predictive control device for controlling a plurality of controlling elements interactive in actions on a controlled object to control the controlled object comprises: a predictive computation part 2a for performing predictive computation allowing for the interactions with the use of a predictive model; a control part 1 for controlling the controlled object 5 according to the predictive computation result; and a model modification part 6 for modifying the predictive model for increased accuracy according to the control result of the control of the controlling elements. The predictive computation part 2a comprises a modified predictive model modified according to the control result data and a simple predictive model for prediction outside the prediction range of the modified predictive model, and a switching part 10 for switching the modified predictive model and the simple predictive model as a predictive model used. Predictive control is performed under predictive model switching, and the model modification part 6 modifies the modified predictive model.
