PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding a plastic lens which can mold moldings of constant accuracy while preventing the occurrence of accuracy dispersion among a plurality of cavities, to shorten a cycle time when the moldings are molded continuously, and to largely improve the production efficiency of the moldings and a method for producing the plastic lens. SOLUTION: The mold 1 has a pair of molds 20 and 40 which are provided mutually separably. A plurality of cavities 80 are formed between the molds 20 and 40 when they are clamped. By packing a molding material 85 in the cavities 80, the moldings 90 in the shape of the cavities 80 can be molded. Temperature conditioning channels 28 and 68 are formed in the molds 2 and 40 respectively corresponding to each cavity 80.
