PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve burden on an X-ray operator for operating an X-ray image diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an arm 1 for supporting an X-ray tube 2 and an X-ray detector 3 which are opposed by holding a subject on a bed top plate 4a on which the subject lies between them, so as to vary an X-ray photographing direction relative to the subject; a supporter 5; and a system control part 10 for controlling a first function, which has possibility to harm the subject owing to wrong operation, based on an operation to be performed by the X-ray operator, and controlling a second function, which has no possibility to harm the subject even in the case of wrong operation, by recognizing voice which is uttered by the X-ray operator.
