<p>This invention provides a process for producing an optical compensation sheet, which can prevent particle settling, can reliably coat a desired amount of particles, and does not cause unfavorable phenomena such as dissolution of particles, and an optical compensation sheet having excellent light diffusion properties and light transmission. The process for producing an optical compensation sheet comprises at least coating a coating liquid for a light diffusion layer containing at least a binder, organic particles having a particle diameter of not more than 100 µm, and a particle anti-settling agent, onto a support. The optical compensation sheet is produced by the production process of an optical compensation sheet.</p> |
