PURPOSE: Provided is a biological dephosphorization process with high phosphorous removal efficiency while reducing sludge generation. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of (a) fermenting and releasing phosphorous components in lake water by anaerobic reaction, (b) eliminating nitrates in the lake water treated at the step (a) by anoxic reaction, (c) releasing poly phosphate in the lake water treated at the step (b) by anaerobic reaction, (d) absorbing phosphorous in the lake water using microorganism by aerobic reaction, and (e) removing a portion of the microorganism absorbed phosphorous at the step (d).
