A washing machine is provided to reduce vibration at a certain RPM and to reduce noise by tuning optimized dehydration speed considering change of resonance vibration range and performing a dehydration stroke. A washing machine comprises a washing tub(29), a motor(28), a sensor(20), and a control unit(22). The control unit set a final dehydration speed considering state of the washing tub sensed in predetermined set speed range before dehydrating the laundry with the final dehydration speed, and performing the final dehydration with set final dehydration speed. The control unit set RPM corresponding to the minimum value among the sensor values as the final dehydration speed. The sensor values are sensed within predetermined speed range per each of rotational speeds. |
