AN ALBUM SERVICE METHOD AND SYSTEM ON IPTV

A TV album service method and system using IPTV are provided to allow an IPTV user to receive a home media service that stores and reproduces multimedia contents without having to purchase pertinent equipment. A TV(110) receives and reproduces a digital broadcast. An STB(Set Top Box)(120) is used to receive a broadcast of an IPTV. An H/E(Head/End)(130) transmits the IPTV broadcast to the STB(120) A DMC(Digital Media Center)(140) manages a schedule of transmitting the IPTV broadcast and generates a broadcast signal A PMC(Personal Media Center)(150) manages multimedia contents updated by the user and transmits the multimedia contents to the DMC(140). An upload server(170) uploads the multimedia contents of the user. A file server(180) stores a multimedia file uploaded by the user. A DB(160) stores information regarding the multimedia contents uploaded by the user.
