GLASS ANTENNA AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A glass antenna and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect the laid pattern by laying one side or both sides of the antenna pattern and the ground pattern in a glass substrate. A glass antenna includes a glass substrate(1), and antenna pattern(2), and a ground pattern(3). The glass substrate is formed by adhering a first plate glass and a second plate glass using an adhesion layer. The ground pattern reflects the radiation wave of the antenna pattern. The antenna pattern and the ground pattern are laid in the glass substrate to face each other. The antenna pattern is formed on the adhesion surface of the first plate glass. The ground pattern is formed on the adhesion surface of the second plate glass. At least some or the whole part of the adhesion layer, which faces the antenna pattern, is made of material having loss lower than dielectric loss.
