<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel cord capable of improving the flatness of a composite sheet, and to provide a method for producing the steel cord. <P>SOLUTION: The steel cord comprises two core wires 2 having substantially the same diameter composed of mutually and linearly contacted wires 2c arranged in parallel to each other along the wire axis 2a and two side wires 3 having substantially the same diameter as those of the core wires 2 laid so as to be wound around the core wires, wherein the core wires 2 are waved as desired before the side wires 3 are laid therearound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
