<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation protector which can be fixed easily to a pole and an object, using an indirect hot-line tool. <P>SOLUTION: The pole insulation protector 2 is used for insulation protection of a pole 10 when construction is performed using an indirect hot-line tool 13. The pole insulation protector 2 has an insulator body 4, a clamping portion 6 fixed to one short side 5a of the rectangular insulator body 4, and a spring member 8 provided at the fixing portion of the insulator body 4 and the clamping portion 6. The insulator body 4 is rectangular and bent in tubular shape, such that the short side of rectangle becomes the axial direction and a portion along the axial direction is opened. The clamping portion 6 turns about one short side 5a. When the pole 10 is inserted from an insertion opening 14, defined by the opposite short sides 5a and 5b of the rectangular insulator body 4 into the tube formed by the insulator body, while touching the clamping portion, the clamping portion 6 is urged by the spring member 8 and the pole 10 is clamped by the clamping portion 6 and the other short side 5b of the rectangular insulator body 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
