A sun visor 10 includes a vanity assembly attached to a sun visor blade assembly 12. The vanity assembly comprises a mirror subassembly 30, a light subassembly 32, and a door subassembly 34. The door subassembly 34 has a light-transmitting component (or lens) 52 and is slidable from a closed position (Figure 4A) covering the mirror 42 and the illumination source 44, to an open position (figure 4B) uncovering the mirror. When the door is in the open position the illumination source gets switched on and is located underneath the light-transmitting element of the door. |
