<p>A locus on chromosome 8q24.21 has been demonstrated to play a major role in particular forms of cancer. It has been discovered that certain markers and haplotypes are indicative of a susceptibility to particular cancers. Diagnostic applications for identifying susceptibilty to cancer are described.</p> |
