A plate glass having a solid pattern and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to express various colors and elaborate patterns even without providing crystal ice or glass powder in various colors. A method for manufacturing a plate glass having a solid pattern includes the steps of: (130) stacking a mold having a pattern on the upside of a glass plate, and coloring the exposed portion of the plate glass with a paint in desired pattern and color; (140) settling glass particles in the paint-colored portion formed on the upside of the plate glass; (170) heating the glass particle-containing plate glass in a furnace at predetermined temperature; and (180) cooling the heated plate glass. |
