<p>A range hood having a hood with an airflow path, an air discharge fan provided in the airflow path, a filter provided in the airflow path, a cleaning casing for surrounding and covering an outer peripheral end of the filter, a nozzle having ejection openings facing the filter, a water supply section for supplying water to the nozzle, and a recovery section for recovering water scattered in the cleaning casing. The filter rotates about its center axis and has the outer peripheral end. The filter has an effective area for allowing air to pass through it to capture minute objects. The effective area has an inner peripheral end surrounding the center axis. The ejection openings are arranged on a predetermined line, from the inner peripheral end to outer peripheral end of the effective area of the filter. In the range hood, stain adhered to the filter can be removed without detaching the filter and degradation in air discharge performance is prevented.</p> |
