<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for forming an image forming device including an electrophotographic method copying machine and a printer, specially, an organic optical conductor belt. <P>SOLUTION: The belt forming apparatus includes a station 200. The station 200 includes a first invertible gripping part 212, a second invertible gripping part 214, and a welder 216 having a nib 250 placed relative to the first invertible gripping part 212 and the second invertible gripping part 214.
