SYSTEM FOR MEASURING STRIDE LENGTH USING ULTRASONIC SENSORS

A system for measuring a stride length using ultrasonic sensors includes: a first transmitter sensing a step and transmitting an ultrasonic signal together with a radio signal in response to the sensed step; and a first receiver detecting the ultrasonic signal and the radio signal from the first transmitter to measure a stride length value and obtains resulting values by calculating a movement distance, a movement velocity, and calorie consumption based on the measured stride length value. The system may be inserted into shoes or attached to shoes or feet. It is possible to provide systematic and efficient exercise and health management.
