The present invention relates to a filter element which filters foreign substance such as dust, installed to an air intake system. Provided is a gasket installing structure of a new type. A hole is formed in a frame made of plastic. Also, a hook is formed in a gasket made of rubber. The bonding force between the gasket and the frame can be improved by using the combination structure between the hook and the hole. The present invention provides a filter element of an air intake system for a vehicle to improve the filtering performance of the filter element by securing the airtightness of a gasket for solving basically a problem that the gasket is separated from a frame.
