PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribing tool and scribing device capable of forming cracks having a sufficient depth in a substrate when scribe lines are formed at positions right above and under a sealant.SOLUTION: Scribing tools 30 and 40 comprise: holders 33 and 43; scribing wheels 31 and 41 arranged so as to project partially from the lower surfaces of the holders 33 and 43; and resin projections 32a and 42a provided so as to project from the lower surfaces of the holders 33 and 43 at positions separated by a predetermined distance in the scribe direction from the scribing wheels 31 and 41. In scribing operation, the scribing wheel 31 and projection 32a of the scribing tool 30, respectively, face the projection 42a and scribing wheel 41 of the scribing tool 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
