Conveying member (1) for a conveyor (11) comprising a conveying element (2) having a principal surface (8) and at least one roller mechanism (3) comprising a roller mount and at least one roller (5) having a physical roller axle. The roller mount can cooperate with an adjusting means, is arranged on the conveying element (2), and is configured such that the roller axle can be moved relative to the principal surface (8) of the conveying element (2) at least between a first position and a second position. The roller (5) protrudes at least in part over the principal surface (8) of the conveying element (2) in the first and in the second position of the roller axle. The roller (5) can adopt a locked position in the first position of the roller axle and a freewheel position in the second position of the roller axle, wherein the roller (5) is locked with respect to a rotation relative to the principal surface (8) in the locked position, and the roller (5) is freely rotating in the freewheel position.
